Piadì is a simple idea that encompasses, in a small restaurant, the essence of Emilia Romagna, the region of hospitality and good company. Piadì recalls the colors of the typical food trucks and beach umbrellas spread all over the seaside and shores. At Piadì you feel like at home, with friends where you can taste the simple dishes of our tradition in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with a touch of modern elegance. Our menu works both for a quick lunch break and for dinner. You can enjoy different traditional dishes including generous main courses, excellent cold cuts and homemade desserts. Piadì is the only restaurant in Luxembourg city, where you can taste the real piadina Romagnola, kneaded every day in our kitchen and stuffed with fresh and genuine products.
The dough of our Piadina is produced upon the pure tradition from Emilia Romagna, with a minor
variation versus the classical processing.
We reduced the quantity of pork lard and replaced it with olive oil, turning the final result into a more friable piadina, easier to digest and with less calories.
To satisfy our veggie clients or those who are more watchful of their silhouette, we offer a 100% vegetarian dough.
At Piadì it’s also possible to taste other dishes of the gastronomic tradition of Emilia
Alternatively to Piadina, we prepare every day Gnocco Fritto and Focaccia. All our preparations are accompanied with high quality cold cuts and cheese platters.
At Piadì you can taste typical pastas from Emilia Romagna, like Lasagna and Cappelletti, as well as
the less known hand-made Passatelli. Additionally we have the to pleasure offer vegetarian specialties,
that express the simple and tasty countryside flavors, like vegetables fricandò, the pumpkin and
potatoes pie and the red radish with Bruciatini.
Also our desserts, Tiramisú, Zuppa inglese, and biscuits are rigorously home-made by us.
